…Astrid!!!

Here is the winner of the Fun Guinea Pig Show 2009! I think you’ll agree she is a very cool customer! With a haircut like that she was always in with a shout!

Astrid is a very lucky Guinea Pig as we found out when we spoke to her owner, Sue Tate. Sue has over 30 little guineas and has started her own Guinea Pig sanctuary, Cavy Corner. This means Sue and her excellent team of volunteers are doing a really important job in caring for and rehabilitating lots of guineas that end up at the sanctuary. It all began around one year ago and is growing all the time. As you can see from the picture of Astrid, they are looked after extremely well! Our Judge, Jenny was impressed with the exellent condition of all the guineas that Sue and the team entered into the show.
