The Adventures of Sally Spotbottom!
13 August 2008
Hi everyone. Our lovely little piglets are now old enough to play outside their pigloos! Yesterday we even found one cheeky piglet exploring her new wallow! Pigs use the wallow to keep cool and stop sunburn, but this brave little porker couldn’t wait until she was older. While Mum was having some dinner the little piglet and a few of her friends snuck all the way to the wallow. Farmer Emily and I caught them in the act and decided to film them! The brave little piglet (who Emily named Sally Spotbottom because of the spot on her bottom!) was right in the water – but her friends didn’t dare to join her! Sally came out with muddy little trotters! When she realised that she was quite a long way from home Sally Spotbottom and her friends quickly ran back to the pigloo, before mum realised they had gone!
The piglets are having lots of fun and we are keeping an eye on them as well. You can see them all for yourself too. In the pig paddock by the deer. They’re really cute!
